Located at a distance of approximately half a km away from the site of Cherrapunjee the cave is nestled and nurtured by the five rivers which passes through the mouth of it.

So be here and explore the might of the caves but just make sure not to touch any of the posture within the caves.

Best Time to Visit
As mentioned above the state Meghalaya receives healthy amount of rainfall throughout the year and it is only during the time winter the entire surroundings settles down to give you the best of scene or rather say to acknowledge the initiative you are looking forward to deal with. So its best recommended being here during the call of winter and making sure to wear the entire warm clothes to safe you from the helms of winter.

How to Reach
Although it is very unfortunate to learn the nearest nodal point i.e., Shillong is devoid from any of the railway station and airport base, so the most reliable way to trek the slopes of Meghalaya is via neighbouring railway station and air base.

By train-the nearest railway station is Guwahati railway station which is located at a distance of 98 km from Shillong.
By air-the nearest airport is Guwahati International airport which is located at a distance of 117 km from Shillong which is the nearest nodal point to reach Meghalaya and from here one can look to get regular bus services to reach Meghalaya.
